Hard agree! I need them to not become Jersey. I need Bravo to get a fucking backbone and do what needs to be done which is what Ira says on Potomac (which that really hurt to agree on Mia and Gizelle) and do the same for Jersey (get rid of Teresa. If they could do it to Vicki they can do it to her)
Hard AGREE on all of these. Although I would only bring in two new housewives and try to find a couple good “friends of” to mix things up. I feel like that model works well on Miami.
Thank you for this! Potomac has always been my favorite franchise too, and I couldn't put my finger on why exactly it wasn't working quite the way it used to. I think that Potomac's success has been (in addition to the women being beautiful, hilarious, and absolute legends) due to the fact that there are real friendships serving as the cornerstones of the show--it's the same reason that the first few seasons of RHONY, RHONJ, and RHOBH were compelling too. Now that so few of them are friends, and it actually feels weird to see them all together as a group, RHOP has become less fun and breezy and, as you mentioned about the Chris-harassment storyline from last season, a little dark.
I'd be curious to hear what your thoughts are on Miami (if you watch it)!
it's sooo painful for me to consider breaking up the OGs but i fear it is necessary with how polarized everyone is. on SLC everyone can hate each other and it's just funny bc they're so cartoonish but the two sides thing is no good. i was really loving dr. wendy but she would need some real allies.
also having grown up in maryland i love thinking about how far away they all live from each other bc there is no way anyone in baltimore and virginia are hanging out regularly
“It’s time to give it up, Deelishis” was wild 😭😭
i literally texted a groupchat this week — "it feels like there are two separate casts at this point...?"
100% agree

This is Wendy's season. Watch.
That’d be surprising but we’ll see!

okay i almost entirely agree except i don’t think wendy was ever given a chance at friendship with anyone, they hated her from the jump
