I was surprised, but not surprised to hear the news today. For a creative writer like you to do the same gig for 10 years is FOREVER in artist-time. You created an amazing series of podcasts that will survive the test of time. Informative, necessarily ridiculous, always surprising, and always great guests. You had Cate Blanchett!!!!!!!
I will miss the chemistry between you and Louis the most. Of the tetrabillion of hours of podcasts out there, where else can you find a conversation that goes from "The Materialists" to Zootopia to ACAB to Louis's to fear of rabbits and back, it not only made sense, but felt vital and like the world was missing that conversation the whole time.
I humbly request in the custody arrangement, that we get to see you and Louis together at least twice a year (Pride and Christmas)?
I will miss your very thoughtful interviews. You were always super prepared, had the best intros ever, showed that you knew the guests well without becoming a fan or know-it-all. Like me, you had seen all the standard questions and knew how not to ask them while still letting the guests get their plug in!
You two were my bridge to "the culture" so I didn't have to feel as old as I am.
You are so talented, and I know you have big things ahead of you.
Please keep harassing Louis in regular frequencies.
I’ve been Keeping It since episode one — all those years ago. Catching up with you and Louis has been my weekly ritual throughout nearly all of my twenties. Until Keep It, I hadn’t heard pop culture spoken about in the way I talk about it with my friends. Thank you for 8 amazing years, Ira! For being with us through it all and letting us come along for the ride. I cannot wait to see what comes next for you!!
Fell to the ground when I saw this in my email! Had to rush to catch up on today’s episode. So so sad to hear you’ll be leaving. Looking forward to seeing more of your future works but you’ll missed so much, Ira!
I was so sad to hear this today. You and Louis have truly been such a bright spot these past 8 years - I haven’t missed a single episode. You will be so missed! I’m excited for what’s ahead for you, but this really feels like the end of an era.
Damn this sucks!! It’s just not gonna be Keep It without you. You and Louis have been an amazing team and it just won’t have the same vibe without you. You have to do what fills you up creatively but it’s a huge loss for so many of us!!
Omg I’m super bummed about this but I have always known there was going to be greener pastures for both you and Louis. Thanks for /keeping/ it up for so long. Keep It has been a core part of my identity in my mid 20s early 30s, it was like listening to a couple of friends who always had the best takes and only talked about the things I cared about - then talking to my own friends about what y’all talked about. Thank you for being a constant in all of the unprecedented times we’ve lived through in the last near decade. I’m glad we still get Keep It with Louis and v excited to follow wherever you end up next.
IRA!!!! such a loss for us as listeners, says the girl whose been listening since the first ep dropped, but so happy for you as a writer and artist. can’t wait to see what your next chapter is 🫶🏽
your commentary will be missed!! Keep It has been such a mainstay in my podcast rotation, partially due to the amazing banter you and Louis share. excited to continue following your writing here (loved your book!) and can't wait to see what you do next. Congratulations on 8 incredible years!

Perfect
Will miss you. Love my former colleague Louis, but you laugh more than he does. Excited about your next iteration.
My heart stopped reading that. No one says “baybee come awn” like you do and I will miss it. Thank you for being in my ears for so long.

Well bye bitch
(will miss you joking with Louis every Wednesday)
I have been going to Keep It for anxiety comfort since 2018 and now I feel healed enough to weather this change.
Good Luck! Also please drop your Cowboy Carter take, blog, everything

Crying in da club rn 😭 your voice in that format will be missed. I look forward to whatever you do next 💛
Oh so bitter-sweet to hear but understand your decision too..
Huge fan here from Australia..maybe it's time to come pay us a visit as a nice holiday and a well deserved break from the USA.
Best Wishes on your next journey which I'm sure will be exciting and I'll be wiping those tears on the very last episode too..😭
