Meredith studies for her Bat Mitzvah. And that’s all we get of Meredith this week! I honestly didn’t notice until I started writing this recap…
The ladies are home from Milwaukee. Bronwyn meets with Lisa at a spa where they discuss a revelation they had at the Milwaukee airport. Lisa knows the family of Bronwyn’s baby daddy. She got pregnant at 18 and his family wanted nothing to do with her, so she raised her daughter Gwen on her own. She later discovered Gwen’s father had died via Facebook, not even from the family. Lisa knows how much heartbreak Gwen’s grandparents have endured on their end and that they finally want to meet their granddaughter. Bronwyn is reticent to introduce Gwen to a family that has wanted nothing to do with them for years.
Heather, Whitney, and Britani go skiing. Britani reveals that when she arrived home from Milwaukee, she had four dozen roses waiting for her from Jared Osmond. Not this shit again. Push her off the cliff! The ladies have a Lisa hate sesh. Britani is upset that Lisa wasn’t supportive of her relationship with Jared. Whitney is mad that Lisa threw away a piece of jewelry she gifted her in Milwaukee. Heather reveals that Lisa is the one who brought the Alibaba rumors to Meredith in the first place.
Mary’s son Robert wants money from her again. She wants him to spend it on food and compares him to a plant. Because plants need to be nourished or they die. Okay. Sure. There’s a dead plant in my living room right now, so I kinda know what she means.
